According to MLS Listings, the marketplace for San Francisco residential properties, here’s what happened in the 3rd Quarter of 2023 versus the 3rd Quarter of 2024:
The Number of SOLD listings increased by 12% to 980 properties, with a top sale of $29,150,000 million at 2799 Broadway
The Average Sales Price increased by 1% to $1,663,991 million, moving the Average Price Per Square Foot increased to $1,016 per square foot.
As measured in quarterly supply, the inventory of properties available for sale increased by 2% to 4.60 quarters’ worth of properties compared to last year’s 3rd quarter
The average 30-year fixed mortgage rate decreased to 6.24%, according to Bank Rate.com.
